Types of feedback

  • Back Story Creation – Work with an Authenticity Advocate to develop an authentic back story for a character/characters.

  • Early Consulting – Initial conversations about a plot, discussion of overarching plot issues, premise or characters, or reviewing illustrations.

  • Reader Report – Written summary of feedback on a full draft manuscript read.

  • Detailed Report – Written summary plus detailed/marked up comments on draft/edited manuscript.

  • Illustration Input – Comments on illustrations at three stages

Project timescales

The approximate timescale for processing a request and making connections are as follows:

  1. Enquiry sent via the form.

  2. After approximately 4 working days, as long as the initiation fee has been paid or invoiced, you’ll receive a notification that the enquiry has been shared with the network.

  3. Approximately 5 working days later (often sooner) Inclusive Minds will email you with information about Authenticity Advocates interested in the project or let you know if there has been no interest.

  4. Once you have responded to Inclusive Minds indicating which of the Authenticity Advocate(s) you’d like to be connected with, or asking further questions, a quote for the work will be put together and sent in approximately 3 to 5 working days.

  5. Once the quote has been approved and the work invoiced or a PO raised, the connection will be made with the Authenticity Advocate.

  6. The timescales after this point are dependent on your schedules and deadlines should be made clear to the Authenticity Advocate.

Investment and payment

Initiation fee

The non-refundable initiation fee should ideally be paid via the PayPal link on the enquiry form when you submit the enquiry. If you are unable to facilitate a payment this way, please ensure you raise a PO (if necessary) immediately, as we won’t be able to share the request until a PO is a received or an invoice is raised.

Full payment

Once one or more potential Authenticity Advocates have expressed interest in the project, and you’ve indicated who you would like to be connected with, you will be provided with a quote for the full project. Once agreed, Inclusive Minds will need to receive a PO (if required) before you are connected to the Authenticity Advocate(s).

Inclusive Minds will invoice for the fee at the start of the project to avoid any delay in payment to the Advocate.

Payment terms are 30 days.
