Early Consultancy on Text/Story:
Early consulting can take a number of forms, but usually happens before the manuscript is written, or while it is being written, the Authenticity Advocate should not be expected to read a manuscript as part of the task.
You should confirm with the Authenticity Advocate what kind of feedback you are looking for. Initial conversations might involve discussing the plot, or overarching plot issues, premise or characters.
Feedback will generally be given verbally, but the Authenticity Advocate may also offer to provide some brief written feedback for clarity.
Early Consultancy on Illustrations:
You should send rough artwork on which the Authenticity Advocate can provide brief written feedback in an email or on a PDF regarding the representation and authenticity.
